Paula Williams

Paula Jean Mash Williams, 45, of Cow Palace Road, died Saturday, September 24 at Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 28 at the Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Darrell Cox officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Piedmont Funeral Home. Mrs. Williams was born January 28, 1966 in Guilford County to Paul Mash and Daisy Mae Smith Strickland. She was a former employee of Lexington Furniture Industries. Her husband, Nathan Williams, preceded her in death as well as her father, and her step-father, Temple Strickland. She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Williams of Lexington; her mother of Lexington; her sisters, Patsy Ann Harrington and husband, Randy Lee Harrington of Elkton, MD and Barbara Ruth Eller and husband, Harold Wayne Eller, Jr. of Aberdeen, MD; her brother, Paul Mash, Jr. and wife, Susan, of Lexington; her step brothers, Jimmy Strickland and Dwayne Strickland, both of Lexington; her in-law family and nine nieces and nephews.
