Zulla Swain Barnhardt

Lexington: Mrs. Zulla Victoria Swain Barnhardt, 88, a resident of Arvil Hunt Road, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, in High Point Regional Hospital. Funeral .Services will be held at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, April 21, 2007, at 2:00 PM by Rev. Charles Elmore. Interment will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Barnhardt was born March 16, 1919 in Davidson County, N.C. to the late Solomon Swain and Ada Copley Swain.. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her husband James Foy Barnhardt and one grandchild James Douglas Branch. She is survived by: 5 daughters, Betty Branch and husband Terry of Advance, Lois Kidd and husband Ricky of Welcome, Brenda Leonard of Southmont, Barbara Branch of Lexington and Jackie Hartwell of Churchland. She is survived by seven Grandchildren , Ray and Michael Hege of Welcome, Carman Branch of Advance, Alex Wolfe of Advance, Larry D. Leonard of Liberty, S.C. Mandy Lynn Bailey of High Point and Damon Hartwell of Tyro. Surviving also are five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, from 6 to 8 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times will be at the home.
