Winston Prince

Winston C. Prince, 72, of Lamb Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at the Hinkle Hospice House. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Forest Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Ron Pennino. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Prince was born July 14, 1937, in Polk County, Tenn., to William Henry Prince and Lena Belle Hampton Prince. In addition to his parents, also preceding him in death were three sisters, Mildred Golden, Pauline Elliott and Wanda Tysinger. Mr. Prince had worked as a machinist for Lexington Metal Fabricators and Lacy J. Miller Machine Co. He was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Linda Patterson Prince of the home; three sons, Jeff Prince and wife Susan of Lexington, Carl Lee Ingram and wife Cindy of Rockwell and Terry Daniel Ingram and wife Lisa of Salisbury; three daughters, Merisa Prince Everhart of Lexington, Sarah Bickish of Fancy Gap, Va., and Carla Lynn Swinson of Salisbury; a brother, Clifford J. Prince and wife Margaret of Lexington; two sisters, Madeline Duvall and husband Norman of Welcome and Kathleen Wood and husband James of Lexington; 21 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
