Wilma Louise Ridenhour Weaver, 93, of Riverview Boulevard, died Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Lexington Health Care. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Kelly Barefoot. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home, and other times at the home of the son Mark Weaver on Riverview Boulevard. Mrs. Weaver was born in Davidson County July 29, 1922 to George and Zella Leonard Ridenhour. She was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ and retired from Young-Hinkle Furniture Corporation. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband Lloyd Edward Weaver in 2010; a daughter, Kaye Lynn Leonard; great-grandchild A.J. Blanton; brother George K. Ridenhour; and sister, Madeline Gordon. Surviving are son Mark Weaver and wife Vickie; daughter Ruth Ann Newsom all of Lexington; grandchildren Tish Blanton and husband Adam, Edward Shaw and wife Debbie, Jody Shaw, Kim Reavis and husband Perry, Todd Newsom and Josh Weaver. Also surviving are eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and sister Irene Koontz of Lexington.
