Our Mama was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother: always the “neighborhood mom,”passing out hot chocolate on snowy days and snowcream to all the kids. Her love for gardening was evident in having the most beautiful yard. Willie was an expert seamtress and pianist. She loved to sing songs and hymns such as “How Great Thou Art” on the piano. Ms. Musgrave loved crossword puzzles and was an avid reader of novels. From her gift with words and her southern charm, Mama could whip up stories to entertain us and leave us spellbound. Willie graduated valedictorian and attended Queens College in Charlotte. We can’t stop loving you Mama, it’s useless to say. Throughout Mama’s life her love for the Lord never wavered, and, as the Apostle Paul said, “I have kept the faith.”
