Willard James Latham

Willard James Latham, 89 of Welcome Bethesda Road, Lexington passed away November 25, 2013 at Hinkle Hospice House, in Davidson County.. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 29, at 11:00 A.M.at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Rev. Danny Miller officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. prior to the service. Mr. Latham was born in Davidson County on April 5, 1924 to the late Harvey Lee Latham and Sadie Lenora Weaver Latham Also preceding him in death were 5 brothers and 4 sisters and a lifelong companion Josephine Bates. Mr. Latham was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and was employed as a floor sander for Latham Floor Service. He was very handy at making wooden crafts especially bird houses. He is survived by one brother, Jack Edward Latham of Welcome, and 3 sisters Kathleen Michael of Fayetteville, NC. Irene Barnes of Winston-Salem, and Lucille Queen of Virginia.
