Wanda Jean Johnson

Wanda Jean Spry Johnson, 50 of Low Meadow Lane, Trap Hill, NC formerly of Lexington, died Monday January 6, 2014 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center in North Wilkesboro. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Randy Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Spry family cemetery in Tyro. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Wanda was born in Davidson County on August 4, 1963 to George Franklin Spry and the late Madge Lee Sparks Spry. Surviving are, husband, Thurman Ray Johnson, daughter, Jackie Leigh Johnson and fiancé Steven Ortiz of Tyro; father, George Spry and wife Sandra of Lexington; brothers, Tony L. Spry and wife Donna of Lexington and Bobby Spry of Tyro; grandson, Bradley Johnson.
