Virginia Foard Wilson

Virginia Foard Wilson, 87 of Arbor Drive, passed away Sunday evening at Grayson Creek of Welcome.   Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday March 28,2014, at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jay Belk officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at Piedmont Funeral Home.   Virginia was born in Davidson County on February 5, 1927 to the late Fletcher H. Foard and Effie Leonard Foard. She retired from Dixie Furniture after 25 years of service. She was a charter member of St. Timothy’s United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Wilson, sister, Helen, great grandchildren, Jessica Wilson and Joshua Wilson.   Surviving are son, Gerald “Jerry” Wilson of Lexington; grandchildren, Annette Barnes, Julia Wilson, Kyle Wilson and Zachary Wilson, great grandchildren, Jacob and Jordan Barnes and Jillian Wilson.
