Violet Haney

Mrs. Violet Ray Gray Haney, 66, of Southmont died Sunday, November 20, 2022 at her home. A graveside service will be Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Forest Hill Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. David Langley. Mrs. Haney was born February 23, 1956 in Columbus County to the late Vallery LaVerne and Sarah Wright Gray. A retired nurse from Sunbridge Assisted Living, she was a member of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Malcon Haney, brother Ricky Lee Gray, and sister Brenda Gail Gray Waller. Surviving are daughter Christine Gloria Haney; grandchildren Christopher Lee Roe, Wyatt Valtermer, and Oliver Roe; brother Mack LaVerne Gray, Sr. (Faye) of Lexington; and sisters Kathy Cherlene Gray and Linda Lou Gray Snider (Wilbur) all of Lexington, and Loranda Gray Workman (Arlie) of Denton
