Vicky Carol Moretz

Vicky Carol Spry Moretz,68,of Parks Road, died Sunday at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, of injuries received in an automobile accident on September 4th. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Piedmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Michael Collier officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Piedmont Funeral Home and all other times at 1584 Old Highway 64 West. Vicky was born in Davidson County on November 8, 1944 to the late William Kelly Spry and Inez Broadway Spry.She was a retired employee of Duracell Battery and was a 1963 graduate of West Davidson High School.She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Surviving are, her husband of 49 years, Paul Willet Moretz of the home; daughters, Kim Moretz Workman and husband Phillip and Kelly Dawn Moretz Kingen and husband Charlie all of Lexington; grandchildren, Wrenn Workman, Austin Kingen and Mandy Hedrick and husband Bobby all of Lexington; great grandchildren, Merideth and Landon Hedrick.
