Vernon Craig Koontz

Vernon Craig Koontz, 59, of West Center Street Ext., passed away on Friday, July 22, 1011 at his home. His funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday July 30, 2011 at Reeds Baptist Church, where he was a member, by Pastor Dave Williams. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 to 1:45 PM prior to the service. He was born September 18,1951 to the late Taylor Free and Edith Koontz. Surviving are three brothers Joel Koontz and wife Shirley , Ronald Koontz, and Michael Koontz and his wife Alanna; two nieces, Shannon Mann and her husband Jason, and Karen Mansilla and her husband Bratso. A very special friend, Nita “Sis” Burrow also survives, along with his little puppy Coco.
