Tony Wayne Warfford

Tony Wayne Warfford, 81, of Old Vintage Court passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Tony was born in Davidson County on December 9, 1943 to the late Herb Warfford and Vergie Hunt Warfford.  Tony was a self-employed CPA and a member of Burnett’s Chapel Church in Greensboro.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren, Alex Beuscher and Adam Lanier, as well as a sister, Martha Warfford.

Surviving are his wife, Johnnie Beck Warfford of the home, sons Justin Warfford (Anita) of Greensboro and Jarrett Warfford of Raleigh, a daughter, Michelle Beuscher of Greensboro, step sons Jeff Lanier of Lexington and Jody Lanier of Colorado, grandchildren Caroline Beuscher, Amelia Beuscher, Nolan Lanier and Matthew Lanier, brother, Dick Warfford and wife Peggy.
