Tina Thea Ward

Tina Thea Ward 62, of Old US Highway 52, died Thursday August 25, 2016 at Greyson Creek. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday September 2, 2016 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Darrell Worley officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Tina was born in Avery County on November 22, 1953 to the late Clint Cecil Ward and Dollie Mae Hicks. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Ward. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her husband, Tony Reid of Lexington; daughter, Tina Marie Anderson of Welcome; brothers, Clifford Ward of Virginia Beach,Va.; Lester Ward of Greensboro; sisters, Glenda Shrewsberry of Lexington; Beulah Johnson of Welcome.
