Timothy Todd Zimmerman

Mr. Timothy Todd Zimmerman, 54 , of Longview Road, died Monday, February 19, 2018.  Tim Zimmerman was born July 13, 1963 in Buffalo, NY, the son of Kathleen R. Brown Zimmerman and the late Lawrence Joseph Zimmerman. He is survived by son Brandon Lawrence Zimmerman of Lexington; daughter Heather Nicole Bryant of Lexington; and brother Thomas Joseph Zimmerman of New York.  Also surviving are niece Amelia M. Zimmerman of New York, and companion Sherry Bryant of Lexington.  A U.S. Army veteran, he was a welder for Power Curbers Companies LLC. Tim’s love for duck hunting and fishing started at the age of three with his father on Grand Island, New York. He left this earth doing what he loved to do most. Tim instilled his love of hunting and fishing to his son and daughter whom he often took along with him on the trips.  He was a free spirit and had many friends and relatives: he never knew a stranger.  A funeral service will be Saturday at 12:00 Noon at  Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Eric Disher. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.  Military honors  will be rendered  by the Davidson County Honor Guard.
