Thomas Wesley Sapp

Thomas Wesley Sapp, 84 of Frog Pond Road, passed away Sunday at Wake Forest Baptist Health.  A memorial service will be held  2:00 PM Sunday February 10, 2019 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.  Mr. Sapp was born in Forsyth County to the late Thomas Franklin Sapp and Bessie Norman Sapp. He worked for Dixie Furniture for many years and later worked for Stanley Furniture where he retired. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Tylor N. Cook, brother, Hoyle M. Sapp sisters, Shelby J. Sapp and Betty Sapp.  Surviving are daughters, Bessie Tolbert (Shannon) of Lexington, Rita Swicegood of High Point and Tammy Hughes( Joe) of Newland, NC, sisters, Shirley Whitaker of Winston Salem and Jane Walser of Lexington, grandchildren, Kristopher Tolbert, Destine Tolbert, Natasha Swicegood, Keisha R. Cook, Myra D. Davis, James R. Cook III, Calvin R. Cook, nine great-grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to www.GoFundMe.com., c/o Bessie Sapp Tolbert.
