Thelma Leona Everhart

Thelma Leona Childress Everhart, 86 of Tupelo Lane, died Wednesday at Wake Forest Baptist health Lexington Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday October 5, 2015 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with preacher David Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park . Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Everhart was born in Davidson County on August 27, 1929 to the late Elisha Childress and Ida Manuel Childress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Caldwell Everhart and her daughter, Jettie Ann Everhart Snead. She attended Madison Heights Freewill Baptist church and was a homemaker. Surviving are, sons, Bobby Everhart and wife Sharon of Lexington; Danny Everhart of Mooresville; daughter, Martha Hooft of San Antonio, Tx.; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.
