Terry Overla

Terry Wyatt Overla went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2022 at the age of 76. Terry was born to William (Red) and Mildred Wyatt on June 30, 1946. She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Overla, who supported her in her ministry as pastor of Higher Heights Church and prison ministry. She was also the entrepreneur of Terry’s Seamstress. Terry was devoted to Jesus, who healed her by his stripes, and she has impacted many lives. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents, her brother Buddy Wyatt and son-in-law Michael Turner, Sr. Surviving are two daughters, Marie Overla Turner of Clarks Hill, SC and Marilyn Overla Wilhelms and husband Chad of Ellenboro, NC; grandchildren Brandt Yokeley, Stephanie Turner King, Aaron Walser (Kacy) and Daniel Walser; great -grandchildren Jaiden Yokeley, Aria King, Holden King, Levi Walser, Bryson Walser and Peyton King. Also surviving are son-in-law Randy Walser and sister Shirley Baucom. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Family will notify loved ones for a future memorial service.
