Teresa Bartrug

Mrs. Teresa Hinkle Everhart Bartrug, 65, of NC Hwy. 150 South, Lexington, NC died Friday, December 13 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 17 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Wayne Sechrest and Rev. Mark Rachels. Burial will follow in Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of the daughter on Staley Drive, Linwood. Mrs. Bartrug was born September 28, 1948 in Rowan County to Paul Douglas Hinkle and Melva Irene Young Hinkle. She was a retired employee of Lexington Furniture Industries. She was preceded in death by her first husband Bobby Ray (Pup) Everhart, by a son Steven Todd Rogers and by a step-daughter Julie Ann Lovelace. She is survived by her husband Barry Lee Bartrug, Sr. of the home; sons Barry Theldon Rogers of Asheboro and Darren Lee Ray of Linwood; step-son Barry Lee Bartrug, Jr. and wife Donna of Seagrove; daughter Amanda Everhart McKnight and husband James of Linwood; sisters Cynthia Lynch and Shelia Williams and husband Kenneth all of Linwood; Deborah James and husband Wesley of Welcome and Sharon White and husband David of Reeds; 3 grandchildren, Kyndell Rogers, Rachel Kindley and Presley McKnight and 4 step-grandchildren.
