Susan Jean Kirkland

Susan Jean Spivey Kirkland,66, of E 10th Ave. passed away Sunday at High Point Regional Hospital. A memorial graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday April 29, 2022 at Lexington City Cemetery. Susan was born in Horry County, SC on September 4, 1955 to the late John Spivey, Sr. and Betty Jean Quinn. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maude H. Everhart, sisters, Linda Icard and Jaqeline Spivey, nephew, John Paul Spivey, son-n-law, James J. Galyean. Surviving is her husband, Daniel starkey of the home, son, Richard W. Grubb (Brooke) of Lexington, daughters, Joady Galyean (Jacob), Garlena Galyean and Wendy Grubb (Stuart) all of Lexington, brothers, John W. Spivey, Jr. of Seattle Washington, Joey Spivey and Jesse Spivey of Mississippi, sisters, Joanett Mack and Gabriela Spivey of Florida, and special friend Wanda Walker. Thirteen grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
