Sue Davis

Sue Rae Parker Davis, 64, of Gray Road, died Thursday, June 29, 2006, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel by the Revs. Jody Harrison and Milburn Trent. Mrs. Davis was born Feb. 28, 1942, in Cherokee County to William Earl Parker and Audrey Allison Parker. She retired from PPG and was a member of Servants Heart Ministries. Surviving are her husband, Gary Wayne Davis of the home; one daughter, Tracy Davis Thomason and her husband, David, of Lexington; one son, David Davis and his wife, Deborah, of Lexington; three sisters, Linda Evans of Moncks Corner, S.C., Billie West of Cherokee and Jeroldine Owens of Lexington; three brothers, Jerry Parker of Pikeville, Roy Ernest "Ricky" Parker of Moncks Corner, S.C., and Stanley Parker of Salisbury; and four grandchildren, Susan Thomason, Seth Thomason, Brad Davis and Chad Davis. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and at other times at the home of the son at 582 Gray Road, Lexington.
