Stanley Howard Martin

Rev. Stanley Howard Martin,75, of West Grove Road passed away Monday April 27 2020 at his home. A private family service will be held at House of Prayer Church in Cleveland, NC. Mr. Martin was born in McDowell County, WV. On March 17, 1945 to the late William Martin and Lillian Berbett Martin. In his early years he worked the coal mines in West Virginia, later he was employed with Lexington Furniture and later retired from Freight Liner Trucking. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Jackson. Mr. Martin was also a veteran of the United States Navy. Surviving are his wife, Pamela Martin of the home, sons, Ronnie Dayton of Lexington and Donnie Dayton of Stuart, Va., daughters, Renee` Owens (Steven), Stacey Bennett (Wade) and Patricia Bryant all of Lexington, Christine Martin (Lester) of Mullens, WV., brothers, Rev. Terry Martin, Sr (Ilene) of Moorsville, Tinker Ray McBryer (Valerie) of Raleigh, grandchildren, Jasmine Lanning (Jonathan), Mason Craver, Kyler Owens (Torie), Levi Craver, Eric Jackson (Amy), Casey McDaniel (Jeffrey), Hailey Dayton, Matthew Dayton, Tatum Dayton, Andrew Dayton and Aliex Dayton, four great-grandchildren.
