Sophronia Tetter

Mrs. Sophronia Belle Worley Tetter, 80, of Mt. Carmel Church Rd. died Friday, September 22, 2023 at the home of her son. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. David Robinson. Mrs. Tetter was born in Ashe County NC May 11, 1943 to the late David Solomon and Emma Mae Kimberlin Worley. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Tetter, stepson Mark Tetter, grandchildren Manuel Gonzalez Ojeda and Kristin Tetter, six brothers, four sisters, and dear sweet friend Sue Wilkes. She was a member of Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church and had retired from Lexington Dialysis Center as a phlebotomist. Surviving are sons Doug Worley (Debra) of Linwood, and Keith Worley (JoAnn) of Denton; daughter Theresa Harris (David) of Linwood; grandchildren Randi Quarles, Megan Worley, Aaron Revalee, Ashley Cottingham, Victor Medina, Jennifer Havard, Tish Smith, and Jessica Ochoa-Jones. Also surviving are sisters Valerie Hedrick (Billy) and Libby Johnson (Teddy) all of Lexington, brother Wayne Worley (Bonnie) of Wadesboro and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.
