Soeurm Sen

Soeurm Sen, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the residence of her son.

She was born on June 6, 1944, in Cambodia. Soeurm was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her life was defined by love, sacrifice, and deep devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the care she gave so freely to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chhem Oeur, and by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Chhoy Chhem and Noble Chhem, and her daughter, Sa Chhem, all of Lexington; her brothers, Tok Sen of Lexington and Ham Sen of Texas; and her sisters, Senn Sen and Seab Sen, both of Lexington. She is also survived by several other brothers, multiple grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.

A service honoring her life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 2 PM.
