Shirley Crisp

Shirley Lee Mills Crisp, 76, of Lexington passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Thomasville Medical Center.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Crisp was born in Richmond County, NC on August 5, 1945 to Grover Lee Mills and Grace Lee Johnson Mills. She was retired from Lexington Home Brands, having worked as a machine operator and was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving sons, David Childers (Melissa) of Lexington, James Lee Childers, and Lloyd Walter Childers, Jr. (Taran) all of Rockingham; four brothers, Paul Mills, Ronnie Mills, Buddy Mills, and Gary Mills; two sisters, Brenda Lampley (Danny), and Peggy Oxidine; five grandchildren, Cody Childers, James Matthews, Jr., Collin Ray Matthews, Blake Dakota Matthews, and Kaitlyn Childers; one great-granddaughter, Luna Rose Matthews; and one great-grandchild on the way.
