Shirley Elaine Broadway

Shirley Elaine Tise Broadway, 70, of Greenwood Street, died Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at The Brian Center of Lexington. A funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in The Lookabill Family Cemetery in Churchland, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Shirley was born December 21, 1945 in Forsyth County to James and Collean Robbins Tise. She was of the Holiness faith, and was formerly employed at Novant Health-Rowan Regional Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Broadway, and a sister, Wanda Booe. Surviving are her husband, Roy Broadway of the home; daughter Cindy Rivera and husband Harry of Salisbury; grandchildren Kristy Jarrett and husband Brandon of Faith and Misty Wilson of Raleigh; great-granddaughter Lilly Jarrett; and sister Marsha Tise of Mocksville.
