Shelby Perry

Shelby Perry, age 68 of South Highway 150, Lexington passed away Sunday at her home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday November 5, 2008 at Fundamental Baptist Tabernacle Church where she was a member, with Evangelist Noah Frye and Pastor Chris Lanning with burial to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Perry was born July 18, 1940 in Davidson County, to Robert Wade Lanier and Margaret Pressley Lanier. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two sons, Wade Perry and Robbie Perry and brothers, Carlton Lanier and Terry Lanier. Surviving are the husband, Hubert Perry of the home, two sons, Mark Perry and wife Peggy and Todd Perry, all of Lexington: one brother Rick Lanier and wife Pat of Lexington: three sisters, Lena Mae Presnell and husband Len, Beatrice Metcalf and husband Jerry and Dianne Lambert and husband Junior. all of Lexington, eight grandchildren, Jennifer Steele and husband Chad, Michelle Perry, Todd Perry and fiancée Kylie, Christy Cooper and husband Andrew Jr., Nicole Perry, Justin Perry and wife Amanda, Matthew Perry all of Lexington and Alesha Perry of Germany: six great-grandchildren, Brooke Steele, Abi Steele, Coty Steele, Karlea Perry, Dakota Cooper, Brianna Cooper all of Lexington. A visitation will be Tuesday November 4, 2008 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at Piedmont Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at other times at the home on Hwy 150. Davidson Funeral Home Lexington is serving the family.
