Sheila Elaine Barnhart

Sheila Elaine Taylor Barnhart, 56, of Manhattan Drive died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Mike Motley. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Sheila was born in Davie County on March 31, 1960 to Billy and Linda Cope Taylor. She was formerly employed by Lexington Furniture Industries. She was preceded in death by her father. Surviving are her husband, David Johnson of the home; her mother of Salisbury; son, Daniel Richardson (Cyndi) of Sophia; daughters April Shenk (Robbie) of Cleveland, NC, and Jessica Barnhart of Lexington; grandchildren Savannah Carty, Tyler Floyd, Samantha Green, Stephani Walden, Leanna Tripp, and Austin Tripp; and great-grandson Logan Munesy.
