Sarah Alice Barnes

Sarah Alice Barnes, age 53, of Partridge Drive, died Friday, April 25, 2008 at her residence. Memorial Services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM from the Landmark United Pentecostal Church, conducted by Reverend Kenneth Marsburn. Sarah was born in Spartanburg County, SC, daughter of Talmadge Paul Meierholtz and Nellie Ruth Ramsey. She was a retired employee of Baker Furniture and was a member of Landmark United Pentecostal Church. Preceding her in death was her father, and stepfather, Frank Paul Carroll. Sarah is survived by her son, Robert Paul Demery of the home, her mother Nellie Ruth Ramsey Carroll of Lexington. Also surviving are a grandson, Robert Paul Demery, Jr., a cousin, Dennis Mills and her uncle, J.B. Newell. The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the service at the church and other times will be at the home. In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be directed to Landmark United Pentecostal Church, 208 Landmark Place, Lexington, NC 27292 Piedmont Funeral Home assisted the Barnes Family.
