Sandy Miller

Sandra Kay Wilson “Sandy” Miller, 55, a resident of Old Pasture Road, died Thursday, July 24, 2008 in Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Sunday from the Greer’s Chapel United Methodist Church where she was a member, with Rev. Lori Anne Bowen officiating. She was born August 4, 1952 in Grayson County, Virginia, to Vivian Smith Wilson and to the late Joe Edd Wilson. She was an employee of Churchland Elementary School Cafeteria as long as health permitted. She is survived by her husband - Bobby Miller of Linwood, NC, her mother, Vivian Wilson of Galax, VA, a daughter, Samantha Miller of Linwood, NC, a son, Mackey Murphy of Independence, VA, a step-son, Jamie Miller of Galax, VA, a step daughter, Shirley Hines of Fries, VA. Also surviving are two brothers, Joe Wilson and Barney Wilson of Galax, VA, two sisters, Patty Adkins and Kathy Halsey of Galax, VA. The family will see friends Sunday following the service, in the church fellowship hall.
