Sally Gaye Adams, 38, a resident of Will Snider Road, in the Churchland Community, died Saturday, July 12, 2008 in Sparta, NC doing what she loved to do, camping Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in Tyro United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Foster, Elder John Draper and Elder David Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Clyde and Ruby Snider Family Cemetery. Sally was born in Davidson County, NC on February 3, 1970 to Mahlon Adams and Audrey Snider Adams. She was a graduate of West Davidson High School, attended Davidson County Community College and had worked at Lexington State Bank for 14 years. She was a member of Tyro United Methodist Church and attended Pine Primitive Baptist Church. She was an avid Tarheel fan, enjoyed camping and traveling and being with her family, her mountain friends at Saddle Ridge Campground in Sparta and her dog Dolly. Preceding her in death were a twin sister, Betsy Kaye Adams, and a brother, Richard Mahlon Adams, maternal grandparents, Clyde and Ruby Snider, and Paternal Grandparents, Evin Edward Adams and Mary Dickerson Adams. Sally is survived by her parents, Mahlon and Audrey Snider Adams of the Churchland Community, sisters, Debbie Mitchell and her husband, Bill of Welcome, and Ruby King and her husband, Barry of the Churchland Community, brothers, Gordon Adams and his wife, Sara of the Reeds Community, and Jamie Adams of Los Angeles, CA. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 until 8 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times will be at the home of her sister, Ruby King, 390 Will Snider Road, in the Churchland Community. Memorials in Sally’s memory may be sent to the Clyde and Ruby Snider Family Cemetery Fund, c/o of Ronda Dorsett, 166 Will Snider Road, Linwood, NC 27299 Arrangements are under the direction of Piedmont Funeral Home
