Ruby Slate Leonard Styers, 82, a resident of Lexington Health Care, formerly of Sapona, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 in Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 25, 2007 in Lexington City Cemetery with the Dr. Jim Martin and Parish Nurse Amy Clodfelter officiating. Mrs. Styers was born October 1, 1924 in High Point to the late Numa Anderson Leonard and Lillie Frances King Leonard. She was a graduate of Lexington High School and a member of First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her husband, Fred Alfred Styers; and two brothers, Frank C. Leonard, Sr. and Jack A. Leonard, Sr. She is survived by a brother, Clifton M. Leonard of Lexington; a sister, Doris Crotts, and husband, Bruce, of Lexington; and her nieces and nephews: Penny Williams, Mack Leonard, Andy Leonard, Frank Leonard Jr., Renee` Thomas, Charles Leonard, Pam Tesh and Dan Leonard. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Piedmont Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 310 S.
