Ruby Pearl Crotts Rowe, 92, of Walser Rd. died Sunday September 4,2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 7,2011, at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Yarborough,Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs.Rowe was born December 27,1918 to the late Lee Crotts and Ida Burkhart Crotts. She was a member of Christ Reformed United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Rowe. Surviving are sons; Larry Dan Rowe and wife Dorothy and Jerry Rowe and wife Joann of Lexington, brother; William Bryce Crotts of Lexington, sister; Betty Palmer of Angier,NC, half-sister; Peggy Beck of Lexington, grandchildren; Danny Lee Rowe of Champaign, Illinois, Tina Felter of Goshen, Indiana, Greg Alan Rowe of Lexington, SC and Scott Brian Rowe of Spotsylvania, Va.; 12 great-grandchildren and 16 great- great-grandchildren.
