Ruby Jenkins Kimbrell

Ruby Jenkins Kimbrell, 85 , of Lexington, passed away Friday evening at her home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 Wednesday July 3, 2019 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Piedmont Funeral Home. Ruby was born in Davidson County on March 16, 1934 to the late Charles Jenkins and Sylvia Muncus Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kimbrell, sons, James,Donald,Michael, Charles, Jerry and Terry Kimbrell, daughter, Susan Kimbrell, brothers, Charles “Sonny”Jenkins, William “Bill” Jenkins, sisters, Jessie Rosebery, Edith Torrence and Marie McPeak. Surviving are son, Steven Kimbrell of Lexington, daughters, Angela Dow, Sharon Diane Hollingsworth (Ronnie), Cynthia Brewer (Danny) all of Lexington, Gail Hayes of Oak Island, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great  grandchildren.
