Roy Anderson Jones

Roy Anderson Jones 84 of Lexington died Thursday April 7,2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday April 10,2011 at Good Hope United Methodist Church where he was a member with the Rev. Chris Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Jones was born October 4,1926 in Davie County to the late George Anderson Jones and Lula Hendrix Jones. He was a retired employee of Dixie Furniture after 43 years of service. Surviving are; wife, Pauline Weaver Jones of the home, sons; Rickey Jones of Lexington, David Jones and wife Carol of Lexington, sisters; Burnell Weaver of Lexington, Vae Everhart and husband Glenn of Lexington . Family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Saturday April 9,2011 at Piedmont Funeral Home and all other times at the home. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorials be made to a charity of the donors choice.
