Robert Perry Almond

Robert Perry “Bobby” Almond, 68, of Clement Road died Tuesday at The Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. A memorial graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Terry Smith officiating. Mr. Almond was born in Cherokee County on September 11, 1945 to the late William Jack Almond and Laura Bryson Almond. He was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church and was owner and operator of I-85 Vending. Surviving are his wife, Linda Johnson Almond of the home; daughters, Rebecca Almond Frye and husband Edward and Blanca Fuents both of Linwood; brothers, William Billy Almond and wife Carol of Alabama; Glenn Almond of Cleveland ,Tn.; sister, Helen Striker of Florida and his other sister Shirley.
