Robert Alley, Jr.

Mr. Robert Paul Alley, Jr., 73, of Wilson Road died Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday at Trinity Baptist Church, Trinity, NC conducted by the Rev. Morris Little. The family will receive friends after the service. Mr. Alley was born October 3, 1949 in Rowan County to the late Robert Paul Alley, Sr. and Inez Wilson Alley. A member of Churchland Baptist Church, he had retired from General Electric Corporation, was a graduate of West Davidson High School and Davidson County Community College. He was a very loving and kind person, a loving husband, and enjoyed the beach and outdoors. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Alley Clodfelter. Surviving are his wife, Kaye Yarbrough Alley of the home; daughters Leslie Tew (Glenn) of Wilmington, and Leslie Williams (Scott) of Lexington. Also surviving are grandchildren Taylor and Luke Williams, and Connor and Alex Tew. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
