Richard Eugene Link

Richard Eugene Link, 74, of Mendota Avenue, died Monday, November 10 at his home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 15, in the Chapel of Piedmont Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Henry McNeill officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The Pallbearers will be David Catlette, Scott Catlette, Gil Catlette, Don Leonard, Clayton Leonard, and Adrian Saunders. Mr. Link was born September 10, 1934 in Davidson County, to William Link and Reatha Leonard Link. He was a retired Salesman of Coca Cola of Lexington and later for Quality Plus Vending, and was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church. Preceding him in death was his father. He is survived by his wife, Betty Pittman Link of the home, his sons, Rick Link and Bill Link and his wife, Missy, all of Lexington, his daughter, Leigh Ann Link of Lexington, his mother, Reatha Leonard Link of Lexington. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Danielle Link, and Katie Link both of Lexington, and Tim Link of the US Army , Ft. Benning GA. and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times will be at the home, on Mendota Avenue.
