Richard Newton Fine

Richard Newton (Ricky)Fine, 53, of Arden Drive, died Thursday at his home. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Fork Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Preacher Clyde Akers and Wayne Rentz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Saturday at Piedmont Funeral Home. Richard was born in Davidson County on September 18, 1960 to Robert Eugene Fine and Betty Williams Fine. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert. He loved fishing at the beach and attending his nephews' ballgames. Surviving are, his mother, Betty Williams Fine of the home; brother, Darrell Lee Fine of the home; sister, Vickie Fine Moore (Danny) of Lexington; special nephews, Josh and Chris Moore, special friends, Steve Crotts, Jeff and Christy Hartley and Perry Charles.
