Renate Kennel Murray 77 of 106 Mountain Vista Rd. died Saturday October 1, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with the Rev. Quinton Long officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 1-2 P.M. prior to the service. Mrs. Murray was born February 21,1934 in Kaiserslautern Germany to the late Fredrick Kennel and Maria Leonharth Kennel. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Efland Murray and son; Gary Murray. Surviving are daughter; Susan Lothridge of Denton, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
