HEADING: Rebecca Jean Phiper Rary Rebecca Jean Phiper Rary 82 of Charlotte Dr. died Thursday February 17,2011 at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday February 21,2011 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Rary was born July 12,1928 to the late Jesse James Phiper and Nannie Mae Cranford Phiper. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Rary and daughter Judy Leonard. Surviving are son, James Allen Rary and wife Rebecca of Salisbury; daughter Deborah Rary Barbagelata and husband Angel of Denton; sisters Doris Allen of Woodleaf, Dot Boysworth of Albemarle, Annie Donahue of Salisbury; Grandchildren Lisa Rose of North Myrtle Beach,S.C. , Tonya Howard of Salisbury, Randy Leonard of Holly Springs; Great Grandchildren Ian Leonard, Jennifer Rose and Jonathan Rose.
