HEADING: Rebecca Wood Gobble Rebecca Gobble 92 of Becky Hill Rd. died Thursday December 1, 2011 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 4, 2011 at Friendship United Methodist Church where she was a member with the Rev. Patrick Snow and the Rev. Pat Marion officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. Saturday December 3, 2011 at Piedmont Funeral Home. Mrs. Gobble was born in Davidson County on December 31, 1918 to the late Thomas A. and Pearl Hartley Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband; Boyd C. Gobble , son; Charles C. Gobble, brothers; Tommy Wood, Jimmy Wood, Ervin Wood and Add Wood, sisters; Annie Davis, Christine Mallard and Margaree Laws. Surviving are, son; Ronald Gobble and wife Betty, daughter; Annelle Owens and husband Bobby, grandchildren; Tony Owens and friend Gayla, Jeffery Owens and wife Shelley, Lisa G. Brown, Greg Gobble and wife Jodie, Dale Rea Middleton and husband Andy, Robin Garrison and husband Chris, great grandchildren; Jason Owens and friend Emily, Brooke Owens, Zachary Owens, Kellie Brown,Katie Brown, Lauren Gobble, Chase Middleton, Cole Middleton, Cody Middleton, Alicia Middleton, Tanner Garrison and Logan Garrison., great great grandchild; Erin Owens, sister; Rilma W.
