Mr. Raymond Hill Wrenn, 83, of Mt. Moriah Dr., died Monday, September 9, 2013 at High Point Regional Hospital, after a lengthy illness. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Wrenn was born February 26, 1930 in Davidson County to Raymond and Grace Hill Wrenn. He was self-employed and a member of the Naval Reserves. He was predeceased by a sister Frances Hedrick. Surviving are son, William Thompson Wrenn of Lexington; daughter, Margaret Wrenn Poovey (Todd) of Winston-Salem; brother, Tommy Wrenn (Rossilea) of Lexington; sisters, Faye Yarborough and Bobbie Helmstetler both of Lexington; granddaughter, Allie Poovey of Winston-Salem; and step-granddaughter, Samantha Sealey of Lexington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Wrenn to The American Heart Association, 101 Centrepoint Drive, Suite 130, Greensboro, NC 27409. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to his caregivers at Care South, Lexington Healthcare, and Mallard Ridge for their extraordinary attention and care.
