Rachel Ann Woosley Rominger,77, of Williams Road, Advance died Sunday morning March 27, 2016 at her home. A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Wayne Swisher, Pastor Jeff Mabe, and Preacher Clyde Akers. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Rominger was born in Davidson County on July 3, 1938 to Edgar Holton and Clara Mae Charles Woosley. A member of Fellowship Baptist Church, she dearly loved her family, her friends, and her church. She retired from Sara Lee Corporation. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Franklin Rominger in 2004, brother David Woosley, and sister Helen Wood. Surviving are sons Ronnie Rominger (Robin) of Lexington, Jeff Rominger (Angela) of Advance, and Chris Rominger (Gundi) of Killeen, TX; daughters Debbie Rominger of Advance, Kathy Bailey (Keith) of Denton, Nita Myers (James) of Advance, Patricia Strunk (Roy) and Susan Blase (Albert) all of Asheboro; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is sister Betty Rose Ryggs (David) of Arcadia. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative CareCenter-Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Office, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
