Rachel Nell Potts

Mrs. Rachel Nell Everhart Potts, 95, of Hill Everhart Road, died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at her home.  A funeral service will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, where she was the oldest living member, conducted by the Rev. Craig Saltzer. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Potts was born in Davidson County July 17, 1923 to the late A. Hill and Emma Lee Conrad Everhart. A homemaker, she was a graduate of Welcome High School and retired from the Lexington City School System cafeterias. She was predeceased by eight brothers and two sisters.  Surviving are her loving husband of 75 years Cletus L. Potts of the home; daughter Gaynell P. Link and husband Richard of Lexington; grandson Brian P. Link of Lexington; great-granddaughter Jasmine Piotrowski of Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Memorials may be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 823 Ridge Road, Lexington, NC  27295.
