Rachel Ann Peele

Rachel Snyder Peele, 82, of Lexington died Friday, July 5th, 2024 at Pine Acres Center for Nursing. A graveside service will be Wednesday, June 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. David Langley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Piedmont Funeral Home. Mrs. Peele was born in Davidson County September 11, 1941 to the late Roy Crawford and Zena Hice Snyder. She was the retired owner of Triad Auto Salvage Yard. She was predeceased by son Randall Shelton Peele, brother Elbert Snyder, and sister, Nell Evans. Surviving are nephew John Evans (Brenda) of Lexington; niece Rebecca Sinnott (Dennis) of Churchland; grandnephews Dylan Sinnott (Krystal)of Charlotte, and Cole Smith of Iowa; cousin Madeline Garner of Low Gap and very special friend Christine Morrison and husband Theo of Lexington.
