Qureatha Rose Frye

Qureatha” Granny” McCray Frye, 82 ,of Gabriel Pointe, passed away Sunday March 4, 2018 at Hinkle Hospice House.   A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday March 8, 2018 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Walkertown.   Mrs. Frye was born in Seminole County, Oklahoma on August 1, 1935 to the late Vernon and Gladys Watson McCray. She was a retired employee of Sears. She was preceded in death by her sons, Richard Ireland  and  Harvey L. Ireland and sister, Loleet Venezia.   Surviving are her husband, William “Bill” Frye of the home, sons, Dale Ireland (Lisa), David Ireland (Jake), daughters, Anita Alexander (Pete), Becky Essick (Ralph), step son, Steve Frye (Tonya), brother, Connely McCray (Lou), sister, Mary Eggleston and Uncle Charles, numerous grandchildren ,great- grandchildren,  nieces and nephews.   Memorials may be made to, Hospice of Davidson County, 202 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
