Priscilla Ann Moody

Priscilla Ann Watson Moody, 64, a resident of Old Salisbury Road, Liwood, died Thursday, August 17, 2006 in Lexington Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted 4:00 PM Sunday, August 20, 2006 from the Greer’s Chapel United Methodist Church where she was a member, with the Rev. Lori Anne Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Moody was born March 30, 1942 in Davidson County to the late L.Z. Watson and Matlean Moore Watson. She was an employee of Goody’s Family Clothing, and she was a member of the Young Adult Sunday School Class, and the UMW at her church. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were (2) brothers, Buck and Tommy Watson. She is survived by her husband,Carroll A. Moody of the home, a daughter, Michele Lakis and her husband, Doug of High Point, a son, Tim Moody of High Point, 5 sisters, Marlene Berry, Fostine Clontz and her husband, Bobby, all of Lexington, Vickie Walser and her husband Wayne, and Christine McDade, all of Linwood, Nancy Miller of Martinsville, Virginia, 1 Brother, Toby Watson and his wife, Tamara of Linwood, 2 grandsons, Andrew and Michael Lakis The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 PM at PIEDMONT FUNERAL HOME and other times will be at the residence MEMORIALS: Greer’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 8195 Old Salisbury Road, Linwood, NC 27299
