Piseth Pich, a distinguished Buddhist monk and Cambodian military veteran, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, at Magnolia Gardens in Thomasville, North Carolina. He was born on February 3, 1955, in Cambodia, where he initially began his life's journey before moving to the United States.
Piseth devoted his life to the teachings and practices of Buddhism, imparting wisdom and compassion to those around him. His dedication to his faith was paralleled by his service in the Cambodian military, wherein he demonstrated his commitment to his country and community.
He is survived by his beloved family members: his brother, Som Art Khon, his sister, Huan Lonh, his nephew, Bonsouet Lonh Mao, and his niece, Wicheny Mao. Each of them will cherish the memories of Piseth's warm spirit and guiding presence in their lives.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home & Crematory located at 405 S Main St, Lexington, North Carolina. This will be followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM in the same location.
Piseth Pich's life exemplified selflessness and dedication, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
