Peggy Grubb Shoaf

Peggy Grubb Shoaf, 70, of Friendship Church Road, Lexington, died Sunday at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at the Chapel of Piedmont Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Carroll Lupton and Mr. Tony Medlin. Burial will follow at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Shoaf was born March 13, 1937 in Davidson County to Willis Grubb and Dorothy Barnes Grubb. She retired from Lexington Home Brands and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. Her parents and her son, Johnny Ray Shoaf, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, W. Alfred Shoaf and her son, Terry Scott Shoaf, both of the home, and her aunt, Mrs. Loula Grubb. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home.
