Peggy Osborne

Mrs. Peggy Potts Osborne, 80, of NC Highway 150 South, died Monday, March 8 at High Point Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the Chapel of Tyro United Methodist Church, by Rev. Randy Foster. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mrs. Osborne was born July 30, 1929 in Davidson County to Canola Potts and Mildred Grubb Potts. She retired from Lexington Home Brands after 47 years of service and was a member of Tyro United Methodist Church. Her husband, Wayne Osborne, preceded her in death in 1997, as well as her brothers, R. C. Potts, Jr. and Noah Potts. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Osborne Hartley, and husband, Paul, of Lexington, her grandson, Grant Hartley, and wife, Stephanie, of Lexington, her great granddaughters, Madison and Emily Hartley; her sisters, Sue Williams, and husband, Joe, and Judy Essick, both of Lexington; and her special friend, Ike Grubbs and his family.
